You will miss it if the port transfer encounters any delay.
TheWuhan Connection Option
If your schedule permits an extra day, I recommend an overnight stop in Wuhan instead of returning directly to Shanghai. The high-speed train from Yichang to Wuhan runs 90 minutes. Wuhan has a new international terminal at Tianhe Airport and a strong hotel inventory with the Wuhan Marriott Hotel Hankou. You can take the morning G-Series train to Wuhan, visit the Hubei Provincial Museum to see the Sword of Goujian, and fly out to Hong Kong or Singapore the following morning. This avoids the rush of same-day travel.
The 2026 Shanghai Auto Show will attract a concentrated audience of industry professionals. The travel window from the show closing to the cruise departure is tight. I advise booking the Century Paragon or Glory Executive Suites at least six months in advance. These cabins sell out first.
